<p>PURPOSE:To improve the precision of position detection by transmitting a radio wave from a loop coil of a position detecting part to a position pointer and detecting the degree of attenuation and the phase in retransmission of a turning circuit. CONSTITUTION:A position detector consists of a position detecting part 1, a selecting circuit 2, a transmission/reception switching circuit 3, a position pointer 4, a transmitting circuit 5, a receiving circuit 6, and a processor 7. In the position detecting part 1, many loop coils 11-1-11-48 are arranged in parallel. One of them is selected by the selecting circuit 2, and the transmitting circuit 5 is connected by the transmission/reception switching circuit 4 to generate a ratio wave. An induced voltage is generated in a tuning circuit 41 of the position pointer 4, and the loop coil connected to the receiving circuit 6 is reverse excited. This loop coil is switched to repeat this operation successively, and the voltage value of the induced voltage is subjected to the operation processing by the processor 7 to obtain the pointed position coordinate value of the position pointer 4.</p> |
