The invention relates to electrical plugs for jack sockets for insertion without activating the switching function. In consequence, the sockets are provided with additional functions, for example, using such a plug, the commercially available power supply unit sockets for small apparatuses can be used as a "battery charging socket" for charging the batteries in the apparatus.
