NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I [R is (un)substituted monofunctional hydrocarbon]. EXAMPLE:1,1,2,2-Tetramethyl-3-vinyldimethylsilylmethyl-5-vinyldimethyl silyl-1,2- disilacyclopentane. USE:A crosslinking agent in high polymer chemistry. PREPARATION:1,2-Divinyldisilane shown by the formula II is reacted in the presence of preferably 5-50ppm calculated as platinum of a platinum catalyst (e.g., chloroplatinic acid, etc.) in usually 2-5 times as much a solvent such as aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon as the compound at 80-140 deg.C usually for 2-5hr. |
