PURPOSE:To improve the immunity from a software error due to alpha-rays by decreasing the source follower current with a transistor (TR) turned off more than the source follower current with the TR turned on. CONSTITUTION:When a potential at an input terminal CIN is at a low logic level, a TR Q1 is turned off and a TR Q2 is turned on, then a TR Q6 is turned off and a TR Q7 is turned on, and then a TR Q4 is turned on. Thus, the output terminal inverse of C goes to a high logic level, the source current of the TR Q4 is small and the TR Q4 reaches a state very close to the cut-off state. In radiating alpharays to the circuit in such a state, since the source follower TR Q4 is very close to the cut-off state, the response speed of the source follower is very slow with respect to the spike noise due to the alpha-rays, but in the normal operation, the decrease in the response speed is prevented. |
