<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the position information having the resolution higher than a prescribed level that is decided by the number of sense lines and driving lines, by calculating the shift values of plural detected touch positions and controlling and outputting the position information obtained from said shift values as the actually supplied input information. CONSTITUTION:A multi-touch position detecting means M1 detects plural touch positions supplied simultaneously owing to a fact that the sense and driving lines are abutted on each other at plural areas. A shift value arithmetic means M2 calculates the shift value of at least one of those detected touch positions. A position information control means M3 controls and outputs the position information obtained from said calculated shift value as the actually supplied input information. Thus it is possible to obtain the position information having the resolution different from a prescribed level detected by the number of sense lines and driving lines. Then it is not required to reduce the width of each sense line and driving line so that a finger touch is impossible with these lines since the resolution is so high.</p> |
