PURPOSE:To prevent the residue of a ribbon remaining in the gaps between adjacent multi-needle electrodes and to avoid staining and unsatisfactory insula tion, by a method wherein an end face composed of multi-needle electrode top parts, a cover film, and a base film is shaped into a smooth plain or curved face and simultaneously brought into contact with an conduction transfer ribbon surface. CONSTITUTION:In a recording head 100, a rubber layer 113 and a base film 112 are laminated on a metallic holder 114 in this order, and multi-needle electrodes 101 are inserted between the base film 112 and a cover film 111 with the spaces between the multi-needle electrodes 101 securely filled with an an adhesive 115. The tip ends of the multi-needle electrodes 101 which are inserted between the cover film 111 and the base film 112 are cut along a line X-Y, thereafter being fixed to the rubber layer 113 and the holder 114 and cut along a line Y-Y and abraded so as to fit the cross sectional shape of a platen roller, lastly. In this manner, even if a printer is used for a long time, the cover film 111, the base film 112, and the multi-needle electrodes 101 are uniformly worn. |
