PURPOSE:To decrease the data value transmitted via a network line by restoring and displaying a format document based on the format data on a memory means designated by the format designating information given from a network system and the document data given from the network system. CONSTITUTION:When the data (format designating information and document data) are given to a data generating means 11 from a network system, the means 11 reads the format data designated by the format designating information out of a memory means 10. Then the display data is produced from said format data and the document data given from the network system. A display means 12 displays the display data. Thus it is not required for the data given from the network system to contain the format data and therefore the throughput of said data is improved.
