PURPOSE:To cause powder material to be filled in a short time and also effectively by filling the powder material into a vessel under applying screw motion to said material. CONSTITUTION:Two or more vibration generators 2a, 2b such as vibration motors are fixed onto the side surface or under the surface of a vibration stand 1. The vibration stand is kept by an antivibration springs 3, and a cast frame 4 and a model 5 are placed on the vibration stand 1. The vibration generators 2a, 2b are opposite and are fixed to the vibration trestle 1 with the cross angle 2theta of the motor axes 10. After the powder material 6 has been brought in the space between the cast frame 4 and the model 5 or while the powder material is being brought in said space, the vibration generator is started, then the vibration stand 1 achieves simultaneously the vibration of rising, lowering and pivoting, whereby the powder material 6 is packed by its screw motion. The speed of the screw motion and the strength of the packing action may be regulated by changing the cross angle 2theta of the motor axes 10 in the vibration generator fixed to the vibration stand and the vibration number and the vibration acceleration generated by the vibration generator.
