PURPOSE:To speed up and simplify the angular position adjustment in the tangent direction of a recording track and the radial direction of a disk by constituting the titled reader so that the rotation axis of a second holder member is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of a guide member, parallel with a guide surface that includes a pair of guide members, and passes through the abutting point between the second holder member and the other guide member. CONSTITUTION:The rotation axis 14f of the second holder member 14 is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of a guide shaft 10 which is the guide member and the guide groove 1a of a mechanical chassis, parallel with the virtual guide plane that includes the guide shaft 10 and the guide groove 1a, and passes through the abutting point between the second holder member 14 and the guide groove 1a. As a result, the angular positional adjustment of a laser beam against the recording track of an information recording disk can be achieved rapidly and easily so that the adjustment is conducted independently in the tangential direction (the tangential direction of the recording track) and the radial direction (the direction of the radius of the disk) without influencing each other at all.
