PURPOSE:To form the image corresponding to the metallic foil part of a cover sheet and to produce the gloss of the higher degree than the gloss in the other part to this image part by pressurizing a photosensitive pressure-sensitive medium which is held superposed on the cover sheet, then heating the medium through the cover sheet. CONSTITUTION:The cover sheet 50 formed by embedding the metallic foil having a desired shape in a transparent heat resistant synthetic resin sheet is superposed on the photosensitive pressure-sensitive medium 30 and after the photosensitive pressure-sensitive medium 30 is exposed through the cover sheet 50, the medium 30 and the sheet 50 are held superposed and are passed in this state between pressurizing members 70 and 72. A heating member 76 is further pressed to the medium 30 from the cover sheet side to heat the medium 30. While the part corresponding to the transparent synthetic resin sheet is exposed, the part corresponding to the metallic foil is not exposed when the photosensitive pressure-sensitive medium is exposed. The image of the metallic foil part is recorded by application of the pressure to the medium. Since the metallic foil has the higher heat conductivity than the synthetic resin sheet, the heat is transmitted to the part corresponding to the metallic foil part of the photosensitive pressure-sensitive medium in the quantity greater than the quantity in the other part so that the gloss of the higher degree is produced. |
