PURPOSE:To miniaturize a switch matrix by arranging four directional couplers using two input signal lines and two output signal lines as main lines and providing four switches between adjacent coupling terminals of each directional coupler. CONSTITUTION:The directional couplers 21-24 are arranged in each square constituted of two input signal lines and two output signal lines. a single-throw/ singlepole switch 25, 26, 27, 28 is provided to adjacent coupling terminals of each directional coupler to form a 2X2 switch matrix 29. Moreover, termination resistive elements 31, 32, 33, 34 are provided to other coupling terminals of each directional coupler. In outputting an input signal of a signal input terminal 1-3 to a signal output terminal 2-1, the switch 25 between the directional couplers 21, 23 is turned on. Through the constitution as above, the number of the directional couplers is reduced to realize the miniaturized switch matrix.
