PURPOSE:To obtain the titled room having an equal characteristic to that of the outdoors by adopting asymmetrical structure for part of a propagation length from a straight line tying a transmission source and a reception source provided in the anechoic room to a wall face with respect to a center line in the enclosed anechoic room in which a radio wave absorbing body is provided on a wall face and a ceiling face. CONSTITUTION:The anechoic room 10 consists of an outer wall 12 having substantial conductivity, a partition wall 14 comprising a conductor sectioning part in the anechoic room 10, and the radio wave absorbing body 16 provided on the wall inner face, and a transmission antenna TX and a reception antenna RX are allocated in the inner space. In such a case, the line tying the center of the antennas TX, RX is made coincident with the center line of the room and the interval between the partition wall 14 and the outer wall 12 is selected to be nearly 45 cm. Moreover, the floor face of the anechoic room 10 is made of a conductor and the radio wave absorbing body 16 is adhered onto the inner face of the ceiling. Thus, although the antennas are arranged in the center of the symmetrical room, the propagation length between the line tying the antennas and the electromagnetic wall face being the surface of the absorbing body 16 is made asymmetrical by the presence of the partition wall with respect to the center line and the symmetry of a standing wave is lost. |
