PURPOSE:To retrieve and extract the desired record out of an original data with high efficiency in a simple and assured way and perform the prescribed processing, by connecting the result of retrieval and an original data cursor to an output processing part connected to the 1st and 2nd storage devices respectively. CONSTITUTION:The original data is stored in the 1st storage device 1 of an information processor and then retrieved under the prescribed conditions. The data retrieved out of a retrieval processing part 2 is stored in the 2nd storage device 3. An original data cursor 6 and a retrieval result cursor 4 are set in response to the storage devices 1 and 3 respectively, and the outputs of the devices 1 and 3 are supplied to a processing output part 5. Furthermore the record numbers are selectively stored to the cursors 6 and 4 to designate a unit data among the data stored in the devices 1 and 3. Then these records numbers of cursors 6 and 4 are replaced independently of each other with shifts of cursors. When the processing is carried out to the unit data designated by the record number, the unit data read out of the devices 1 and 3 are processed at a processing part 5. |
