The main part of the hole puncher, namely the bottom part 20 and supporting part 19, is formed as an extruded section e.g. of aluminium. Respective end plates 11, 12 e.g. of moulded plastic are preferably fitted thereon to maintain strength and rigidity, so that the thickness of the extruded section can be made smaller. The length of the extruded section and the placement of openings 42, 43 for cutting tools 15 can be varied without new production moulds being necessary, the production of a series of different sizes of hole punchers being made simpler and cheaper. The main part of the hole puncher can alternatively be formed by two or more extruded sections. The pressure lever 14 can also be formed as an extruded section. <IMAGE>
