PURPOSE:To visually or audibly confirm the state of pause operation by outputting an intermitting signal as a display signal during pause of a dialer. CONSTITUTION:A redial memory 30 stores a data received from a key input circuit 24 and the data is outputted to a DTMF generating circuit 32 or a pulse generating circuit 38. When a pause signal stored in the dial memory 30 is detected by a pause detection circuit 48, a frequency division pulse signal DP is generated from a frequency divider during the pause. Then a light emitting diode 44 is blinked to display the pause state.
