PURPOSE:To internally produce a bar code with a simple operation by extracting the picture number information out of the picture information sent via a picture number information extracting means and producing the bar code in response to said picture number information. CONSTITUTION:When a user requests an information center for transfer of the picture information via a key pad 22, an input circuit 211 sets an information processing circuit 214 in a display mode and displays the received picture information on a display. Then a screen number extracting circuit 215 reads the picture number information out of the picture information and supplies it to a bar code generating circuit 212. When the user instructs the print of a bar code via the pad 22 during the picture display, the circuit 211 sets the circuit 212, a printer output circuit 213 and a printer 23 under a print mode respectively. In this case, the bar code corresponding to the picture number information received from the circuit 215 is outputted from the circuit 212. The circuit 213 drives the printer 23 to print the bar code.
