PURPOSE:To eliminate the limitation with respect to a transmission line code form at a terminal station by sending a monitor signal periodically and automatically when the relay operation is started so as to eliminate the need for an identifier for a monitor control signal. CONSTITUTION:When a signal detection means detecting the presence of a relay signal provided in a reception identification section 12 detects a signal, a monitor signal 23 is received and stored in a monitor information detection storage section 35 by using a clock from an internal clock generating section 34. The newest monitor signal stored in the monitor information detection storage section 35 is read at every production of a transmission timing signal 33, a main signal pulse train of transmission sections 13, 17 is modulated and the monitor signal is superimposed on the main signal pulse train and sent to a terminal station. Thus, a reception identification section for a monitor control signal is not required. Moreover, the code form of the main signal pulse train is not limited. |
