摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a compact, simpler but low cost high pressure regulating valve by allowing communication between an inlet passage and an outlet passage through a valve passage by sliding a valve when the inlet pressure at a valve port from a communicating passage in the valve body exceeds a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A valve body 14 has an inlet passage 15 and an outlet passage 16 for refrigerant, and a communicating passage 17 is provided to the inlet passage 15, extending laterally therefrom to communicate to a valve port 18. The valve chamber 19 communicating to the valve port 18 is provided with a valve 20 having a valve passage 22 which corresponds to the inlet passage 15 and outlet passage 16, and spring 21 which presses the valve 20. When overloaded, the refrigerant condensed in a heat exchanger acts upon the inlet 15, and when the pressure exceeds a specified value, the refrigerant pressure reaches from the communicating passage 17 to the valve port 18 to displace the valve 20 compressing the spring 21. As a result, ports for the inlet passage 15a and valve passage 22a, and ports for the outlet passage 16a and valve passage 22b are communicated respectively so as to regulate the flow rate of the refrigerant in accordance with the area of alignment which is responsive to the pressure.
