<p>PURPOSE:To effectively utilize a shelf, by a method wherein a moving member is secured to the lower end of the pedestal of a shelf, guide rails for the moving member are longitudinally and laterally laid, the installation position of the shelf is decided according to the using frequency of each shelf and the shelf is moved and installed. CONSTITUTION:Tiles 1, in each of which two lines of grooves 3 are longitudi nally and laterally formed, are laid on a floor surface, and longitudinal and lateral guide rails 4 are formed with the grooves 3. Meanwhile, a moving mem ber 12 utilizing balls is mounted to the lower end of a pedestal 6 of a shelf 2, and is situated movably in the guide rails 4. A plurality of insertable type shelf plates 8 are positioned to each shelf 2. The using frequency of each shelf 2 is decided by a proper method, for example, by counting avallability by means of a box switch mounted to each shelf 2, and the shelf having the high using frequency is moved and situated in a position where the shelf is easy to handle. The movement is effected by means of the moving member 12 and the guide rails 4. This constitution enables effective utilization of the shelves.</p> |
