PURPOSE:To smoothly mount a tube on an object to be mounted, by mounting a vacuum suction chuck for sucking the tube externally fitted to a tube guide rod under vacuum to grasp the tube and drawing out the same over a predetermined length. CONSTITUTION:The leading end of a tube 6 is externally fitted to a tube guide rod 1 and a vacuum suction chuck 4 for sucking the tube 6 under vacuum to grasp the same is provided under an opening and closing chuck 3. At first, the tube 6 is sucked from both sides thereof under vacuum to be grasped by the chuck 4 and pulled down to cover the outside of a support rod 2 with the leading end of the tube. Next, the tube guide rod 1 is grasped through the tube 6 by the chuck 3 and the support rod 2 is moved downwardly in such a state that the leading end of the tube 6 is grasped by the chuck 4 to form a gap 7 between the leading end of the rod 1 and the support rod 2 and a blade 5 is moved so as to pass through the gap 7 to cut the tube 6. The cut tube is mounted to an object to be mounted while held by the chuck 4.
