<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a double structured container, the forming error of which is small and the gas barrier properties of which are excellent, by a method wherein blow forming is applied to a molded item. CONSTITUTION:Under the state that the mouth part 3 of a molded item 2, which is molded by injection molding, and at the same time an inner mold 7 is assembled in the molded item 2, the molded item 2 is installed in a blow mold 6 so as to blow air in the bottom wall 4 of the molded item 2 by inserting an air needle 8 in the central part of the bottom wall 4 of the molded item 2. As a result, a hollow 9 is formed by the air in the interior of the bottom wall 4 and of the tubular wall 5 lying between the bottom wall 4 and the mouth part 3 so as to swell out the bottom wall 4 and the tubular wall 5 in order to form the molded item 2 into a shape set by the blow mold 6 and the inner mold 7. At this time, no breakage of the surface of the molded item 2 by the pressure of the air does occur, since said surface is in the state softened enough required for blow molding.</p> |
