PURPOSE:To obtain an image of good quality by providing a fan motor in a duct provided on the upper part of an electrostatic charger, setting a flow of its air to the discharge direction from the charger, and driving the fan motor by tuning with an image forming process. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is constituted so that an ozone discharge duct 17 is placed in the upper part of a charging part 2 to a drum-shaped photosensitive body 4, a fan motor 21 is provided in the duct 17, and air flows to the motor 21. In this state, the motor is rotated by turning on a transistor TR by a signal S only at the time of a recording operation, and after the recording operation has been ended, ozone is discharged by setting so that the motor M is further rotated only the time when the ozone is drawn out of a recording body. In such a way, at the time of the recording operation, the fan motor 21 is rotated at a high speed, the ozone from a charger is discharged efficiently to the outside by the fan motor 21 provided in the dust 17, ozone is not stagnant in the charger part and the recording body is not fatigued, and image processing of high quality is executed. |
