PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time of graphic data by providing a division control means which divides the graphic data into process units within effective recording width and a storage means which stores some of the divided graphic data which are contained in one process unit and data contained in other process units distinctively. CONSTITUTION:This controller has the division control means 13 which divides the graphic data by the process units with the effective recording width according to control data from a graphic data generator when the graphic data exceeds the effective recording with of a graphic output device and storage means 14 and 15 which store some divided data contained in one process unit and the remaining data contained in other process units distinctively. Consequently, the need to run a job for graphic data generation while parameters are varied is eliminated to improve the effective utilization of the graphic data generator greatly and also shorten the processing time of the graphic data. |
