PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having a quick response to softening and hardening at low temperatures and excellent strength and being suitable as a molding such as a tray for dental impression, by mixing poly-epsilon-caprolactone with a metallic powder. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin composition is prepared by adding 5-50 pts.vol. metallic powder to 100pts.vol. poly-epsilon-caprolactone. Although any metallic powder can be used without any particular limitation so far as it is stable under conditions of use of the obtained resin composition, aluminum is desirable from the viewpoint of a speed of response to softening and hardening, stability, lightness and hue. The particle diameter is preferably in the range of 5-200mu. This thermoplastic resin composition has a quick response to softening and hardening at low temperature and excellent strength. Therefore, it can be formed readily without any skill into a molding such as a tray for dental impression because of its good moldability.
