PURPOSE:To obtain an immunological drug consisting of an optically active substance capable of exhibiting optical activity by irradiation with laser. CONSTITUTION:An immunological drug obtained by linking an optically active substance capable of exhibiting optical activity by irradiation with laser [e.g. pheophorbide alpha (phd) or tenhydroxypheophorbide alpha] preferably further to a monoclonal antibody for immunodeficiency virus (e.g. human monoclonal antibody for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, human monoclonal antibody for adult T cell leukemic virus or hepatitis B type virus human monoclonal antibody). When the tenhydroxypheophorbide having high optical activity is used as the optically active substance, respective viral cells can be heat-treated at a higher temperature in a shorter time by irradiating with laser, especially YAG laser. As a result, damage of healthy cells can be reduced in irradiating human bodies with the laser. |
