PURPOSE:To concentrate the distillation waste liquid with the recovery heat of waste hot water by flash-evaporating the waste hot water generated at the concentration process of distillation, and compressing the vapor with a steam ejector to heat the distillation residue. CONSTITUTION:The waste hot water which was used for the cooling of the alcoholic component and is now waste is introduced to a flash evaporator 1 by a pump 6 to generate the vapor which is compressed and sent to a condenser 2 by the steam ejector 14 connected with the flash evaporator. On the other hand, the distillation waste liquid is sent to a concentrator 3 by a pump 7 and circulated through the condenser 2 by a pump 5 to be heated with the result that the liquid is concentrated by the evaporation of water. The concentrated waste liquid is discharged by a pump 10 to be recovered. As the waste hot water which was used for the cooling of the evaporated alcoholic component is used for the concentration of the distillation waste liquid by using the steam ejector, the heat of the waste hot water is recovered, and the need of cooling water for cooling the waste hot water is eliminated and the amount of distillation waste liquid is reduced.
