PURPOSE:To reduce useless friction between a belt and a cut paper by transporting a cut paper between upper and lower belts and retreating front wheels of pressing wheels, which are arranged in front and rear rows for clamping and pressing the belts, from an operation position at need. CONSTITUTION:A long rolled paper 9 fed out from a feed roller 8 is made into cut paper of a whole sheet size and a half cut sheet size by one side operation or cooperation of cutters 15A, 15B, and the cut paper is clamped and transported by small cutting wheels 39, 65 and whole sheet wheels 41, 66. The distance between the small cutting wheels 39, 65 and the cut position is half-cut paper l/2, and the distance between the wheels 41, 66 and the cutting position is a whole sheet l. The transport speed of the belts 22, 63 is set a little higher than the feed speed of the feed roller 8 for spacing cut papers. The small cut wheels 39, 65 are retreated upward by a retreating mechanism 42 at the time of transporting cut paper for a whole sheet, so that the friction with the belts 22, 63 extending to the whole sheet wheels 41, 66 is reduced to prevent damage of the cut paper. |
