<p>PURPOSE:To provide a gene widely acting to hematopoietic cells such as marrow cell, thymus cell, fetus liver cell, etc., and coding a polypeptide having activity of human hematopoietic system cell growth promotion factor. CONSTITUTION:A gene coding a polypeptide having the activity of human hematopoietic system cell growth promotion factor (HCGPF). The HCGPF exhibits wide immunoregulation function and hematopoiesis-controlling function in living human body and is useful in the field of immunoinsufficiency, autoimmune disease, infectious disease, hepatitis, nephritis, cancer, marrow transplantation, etc. The gene includes a DNA beginning from the 64-66th ATG sequence of a DNA having a base sequence shown in the figure and containing a continuous base sequence reaching at least a GCC sequence of 652-654th positions, a DNA beginning from the 118-120th ACC sequence and having a continuous base sequence extending from the ACC sequence to at least a GCC sequence and a DNA having a continuous base sequence extending from 154-156th ATC sequence to at least a GCC sequence.</p> |
