PURPOSE:To make continuous electrolytic finishing performable by constituting the finisher with a conductive feed roll feeding a cylindrical metal material, a ring electrode, an electrolytic cell, a DC power source or the like, and letting the cylindrical material rotate and pass through the inside of the ring electrode. CONSTITUTION:A conductive feed roll 2 feed a cylindrical metal material 1 in the longitudinal direction in rotation. Next, an electrolytic cell 3 is formed into hollow cylindrical form with a nonconductive material, provided with an inflow port 3a at the upper part and an outflow port 3b at the lower part, respectively, and also provided with both O-rings 4 and 5 in and around both ends, while the inside is liquid-tightly closed. In addition, a ring electrode 6 is installed in the almost central part of the electrolytic cell 3, and a clearance 7 is formed in a gap 7 with a surface of the cylindrical metal material. An electrolyte is made to flow in this gap 7, operating a DC power source, thus the surface of the cylindrical metal material 1 is electrolytically finished in rotation. With this constitution, a cylindrical surface of the cylindrical metal material 1 is favorably machinable for electrolytic finishing.
