The invention relates to a telephone box consisting of a cell closed by a door and comprising a device for returning the door into the closed position. According to the invention, the said cell comprises at least one lateral wall 1 in the shape of a circular arc and provided with a door 3 which is also in the shape of a circular arc and slides on the said wall 1; the upper part 7 of the door 1 is advantageously fixed to a support which can move along a circular arc.
