<p>A display sign (12) having a plurality of display faces (38), (40), and (44) removably supported on the upper end of an elongated standard (14) wherein the lower end thereof is secured to a base which is at least partially buried beneath a supporting ground surface (22) such that the sign assembly (10) is maintained in an upright orientation. The standard (14) is of a predetermined length such that the display faces (38), (40), (42) and (44) are spaced above the supporting ground surface (22) at least a minimum distance and further where each of the display faces are separated into a first display zone (45) adapted to have printed media such as street names thereon and a second display zone (46) adapted to have printed and pictorial advertising media displayed thereon.</p> |
