PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a weighting movement converting circuit and to speed up arithmetic processing by facilitate the setting of a weighting movement value and using multistage shift registers. CONSTITUTION:The weighting movement value is set with four values, i.e. k1-k3 determined in a longitudinal direction and the k4 of a center picture element part. This setting method results in the circuit which requires eight adders and nine adders conventionally can be composed of only five adders and four multipliers. Further, multistage shift registers are used as shift registers 26 and 27 to reduce the frequency of access to each picture element in an image memory to one. Consequently, the setting of the weighting movement value is facilitated only for values of high use frequency and the weighting movement conversion of an image is enabled by the relatively simple circuit constitution. |
