PURPOSE:To reduce fatigue due to electrostatic charge during repeated use by specifying the rate of covering of an electric charge generating org. pigment on an electrically conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:When an electrically conductive layer, an electric charge generating layer contg. an electric charge generating org. pigment (A) and an electric charge transferring layer are laminated to obtain a sensitive body, the rate of covering of the pigment A on the electrically conductive layer is regulated to 45-85%. In case of <45% rate, the residual potential is increased and the sensitivity is lowered. In case of >85% rate, fatigue due to electrostatic charge during repeated use is increased. One or more kinds of pigments selected among eta, eta', tau and tau' type metal-free phthalocyanine pigments are desirably used as the pigment A. The electric charge generating layer may be formed by vacuum deposition or coating and the electric charge transferring layer by coating. |
