PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of an entire system by connecting a context switching circuit to 1st and 2nd registers and selectively controlling input/output operation between the electronic processors of registers corresponding to a processing context. SOLUTION: A data processor 11 is provided with an electronic processor 15 to be operated within the substitutive processing context identified by a context signal INT in response to this context signal INT. 1st and 2nd registers are connected to the electronic processor 15, are participated in one processing context and hold information from the other processing context until recovery. A context switching circuit 231 is connected to the 1st and 2nd registers and selectively controls the input/output processing of registers between the electronic processors 15 corresponding to the processing context. Concerning programs and data, two different memory bus structures are maintained, throughput is made maximum, and execution is performed at full speed. |
