PURPOSE:To realize high accuracy by containing all component members in a case made of a superconductive material, and cutting off positively the influence from an external magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:An optical system of an optical fiber gyro contains a light emitting element 10, a beam splitter, a single mode optical fiber 14, a light receiving element 18, etc. A fiber coil 3 of the optical fiber gyro contains a sensor coil. An electronic circuit 4 calculates a rotation angular velocity, etc. from the phase difference between light beams of the optical fiber gyro. All of these component members are contained in a case 1 made of a superconductive material.
