PURPOSE:To provid the title composition excellent in photopolymerization initiating performance and capable of increasing the initial polymerization rate of an unsaturated compound, which comprises a specific pyridyl ketone compound and an organic peracid ester compound. CONSTITUTION:A photopolymerization initiator composition is obtained by blending a pyridyl ketone compound (a) of formula I (wherein A and B are each a group of one of formulae II-IV; and (l) and (m) are each 0-2), and an organic peracid ester compound (b) (e.g., tert-butyl peroxybenzoate) having a benzene skeleton or benzophenone skeleton in the molecule and a 10-hr half- life period temperature of 70 deg.C or above so that the weight ratio of (a) to (b) may be 1:100-100:1. 0.1-30pts.wt. above composition is added to 100pts.wt. unsaturated compound such as acrylic acid or acrylonitrile. |
