PURPOSE:To contrive multifunctionalization capable of changing another disk under the state of reproducing one disk by moving only a 2nd disk mounting part out of or into the device main body, interlocking with a 2nd tray in its movement of going out of or into the device main body by a drive mechanism under the housing state of a 1st tray in the device main body. CONSTITUTION:A rotary tray 15 is rotated until a pin 17d of a subtray 17 is positioned to a corresponding place to a recessed part 32c of an exchange tray 32, where a tray 12 is descended in this position so that the pin 17d of the subtray 17 is loosely fitted with the recessed part 32c of the exchange tray 32. As a result, when the exchange tray 32 is extruded out, the subtray 17 is subsequently extruded out, so that the loading/unloading operation can be performed on a compact disk 29 of the subtray 17. Consequently, the exchange operation, etc., of a compact disk 29 can be performed to one subtray 17 or 16 under the reproducing state of a compact disk 29 mounted on the other subtray 16 or 17. By this method, an automatic reproducing can be performed continuously, thus enabling a device to be so multifunctionalized that the conventional compatible type disk reproducing device has never achieved.
