PURPOSE:To simplify operations to be executed when position correction is performed at the time of copying, by providing a means which inhibits the inputting operation of an input means while image forming operations are carried on. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with a means for forming images on a recording medium, means 100-102 for inputting data for shifting the position of a reproduced image recorded on a recording medium to an optional position from a reference position, and a means CNT for holding data from the input means. A CPU shifts the position of the reproduced picture from the reference position by control the timing of an image forming means in accordance with data held by the holding means and, at the same time, inhibits the inputting operations of the input means while image forming operations are carried on. Therefore, a reproduced image formed on the recording medium can be shifted by an optional quantity and, moreover an unprepared change in shifting quantity can be prevented while image forming operations are carried on. |
