<p>PURPOSE:To improve the overall program executing efficiency by incorporating microcomputers of low levels in desired numbers at the periphery of a microcomputer core and allowing each microcomputer to take charge of routine control. CONSTITUTION:The microcomputers 20-1-20-n of low levels are set in response to each routine and start signal lines 19-1-19-n are connected to an original start signal line 17 received from a microcomputer core 10 via a data bus 18. The core 10 produces an original start signal with an instruction or internal serial communication every time various routines are requested. Then the core 10 starts the microcomputer of low level in response to a desired routine via the line 17. In a routine processing state the core 10 carries out an internal arithmetic operation and performs the transfer of data with a peripheral circuit 11 and an input/output port 14. Thus the overall program executing efficiency is improved.</p> |
