APPARATUS FOR CHANGING WINDING SPEED OF ROVING FRAME

PURPOSE:To carry out winding of fiber under optimum tension from the start to the end of winding, by calculating optimum winding speed from spinning condition and spinning speed by a controlling device and controlling the rotation of variable speed motor for the driving of a bobbin according to the changeover signal of the ascending and descending motion of a bobbin rail. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin B put on a spindle 10 is driven separately from a draft part at variable speed with a variable speed motor 14 driven at variable speed by a variable speed by a variable frequency power source 13. Optimum winding speed is calculated by a controlling device 30 based on the data of the number of twist inputted by an inputting device 34, spinning such as bobbin diameter at the start of winding and spinning speed detected by a rotational speed detector 27. The rotation of the variable speed motor 14 is controlled by the controlling device 30 according to the signal transmitted from a change- over signal transmission means to transmit a signal corresponding to the change- over of the ascending and descending motion of a bobbin rail.
