发明名称 FLUX FOR NON-FUSED SUBMERGED ARC WELDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve toughness and crack resistance of a welding metal by containing the total of one or more kinds among Ca, Mg, Al, Si and Mn together with each the prescribed wt.% of blast furnace slag and MgO, at the specific % in a flux. CONSTITUTION:In the flux for welding, 20-87 wt.% the blast furnace slag and 12-40% MgO are contained and also 0.2-10% of the total of one or more kinds among Ca, Mg, Al, Si and Mn is contained. As the blast furnace slag is formed by complex oxide having many kinds of components of SiO2, Al2O3, MnO, etc., in the component composition, the melting point is lowered at about 1400 deg.C and development of defect in the welding metal is prevented by improvement of the fused characteristic. As MnO exists at suitable quantity in the flux, bead shape is improved and the toughness of welding metal is improved. As development of the defect is prevented, the crack resistance of welding metal is improved.
