PURPOSE:To accurately measure the shape of a small-diameter hole of about 1mmphi by using a one-side blowing air micrometer. CONSTITUTION:When the hole B (2, 3) of a body W to be measured is measured, the one-side blowing air micrometer 1 is used. The one-side blowing air micrometer 1 is provided with a blow-out hole 5 formed at right angles to an air passage 4 and an extraction direction. While the body W to be measured is rotated by a driving motor 10, the one-side blowing air micrometer 1 mounted on a static pressure slide 9 is driven by a driving motor 7 and inserted into the hole, and the gap G to the surface to be measured is measured from current back pressure. This gap G, the angle theta of rotation of the body W to be measured, and the movement quantity (l) of movement of the micrometer 1 are inputted to a computer 8 to perform specific data processing. Consequently, even the shape of the hole of about 1mmphi is accurately measured.
