In an apparatus for producing concrete elements in an upwardly open mould (1), there is provided a tamping device (12) which has a tamper for compacting concrete filled into the mould (1), and a fixed guiding device (30) for the tamping device with a horizontal guideway (34). In this arrangement, the guideway (34) has a given extent and shape, corresponding to a path of movement which the tamper (12) is to follow and which corresponds to a centre line in the concrete mould (1) which runs at a distance from the mould walls. Furthermore, for movement of the tamping device (12) in such a way that the tamper (12) follows the path of movement, there is provided a drive (29), which is in engagement with the guideway (34). The tamping device (12) has a slide (6), which is displaceable in a horizontal plane, and a frame (7), which is carried by the said slide and on which there is attached movably up and down a frame slide (10), which for its part bears the tamper (12). The slide (6) is movable back and forth by means of a first and a second mounting (14, 15) respectively in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. <IMAGE> |
