The invention relates to motor vehicle technology, in particular for utility vehicles. The aim of the invention is that the driver's cab is manually unlocked and automatically locked and secured against unauthorised persons in accordance with the ECE rules. The object of the invention is to provide a closure for tiltable driver's cabs which can be actuated from the outside and which can assume the role of the supplementary lock for a four-point bearing. The essential feature of the invention consists in the fact that in the housing of a closure for a driver's cab with a hook which is mounted counter to a spring and has a locking stage, a run-up segment and a hook trap, a combined locking and actuation element is rotatably mounted in a bolt separately from the hook and counter to a tension spring. The said locking and actuation element has a run-up segment, a curved segment, an actuation lever and a cut-out in the region of the hook-side bolt. The field of application of the invention is tiltable driver's cabs on utility vehicles.
