PURPOSE:To make it possible to remarkably improve the alignment precision of strip- shaped thin boards when they are contained and to continue the containing work without interruption, by allowing an intermediate shutter to open when the mounting and moving means stops after its movement, thereby dropping the strip-shaped thin boards temporarily held by the shutter. CONSTITUTION:By the guides for conveyance provided at both ends of a converyer belt connecting a pressing machine and the containing section, the position of a strip- shaped lead frame 8 on the conveyor belt is always maintained constant, and it is taken into the containing section. In the containing section, the lead frames 8 are sequentially taken in, dropped while they are guided by a containing guide 6, and mounted on a mounting and moving table 14 in order. When a predetermined number of lead frames 8 are completely mounted, the mounting and moving table 14 moves for conveyance, during which an intermediate shutter 16 placed in the middle of the containing guide 6 operates to temporarily hold the lead frames 8 dropping along the guide 6. With this, the work can be continued without interrupting the cutting process in the pressing machine and the conveyance at the take-in side of the containing section.
