PURPOSE:To cast a casting having high quality and to facilitate removal of a core by using a placed core composing of hollow shell type thin metal in pressure casting. CONSTITUTION:The hollow sheel type placing core 10 is formed by blow-forming from a thin aluminum plate, and releasing agent is coated on the surface of the core 10. Next, the core 10 is set in dies 11, 12. A pressure pipe 16 connected with a pressurizing device for applying the pressure to the hollow inner part 10a of the core 10 in the core print part in the die 11. A detector 17 is arranged in the die 12, and by molten aluminum alloy, the pressure casting is executed so as to be able to load the pressure corresponding to the detected metal pressure to the inner part 10a in the core. After casting, the pressure in the core is returned to normal, and by evacuating to vacuum through the pressure pipe 16, the metallic shell in the core is crushed and can be simply taken out.
