PURPOSE:To suppress the envelope fluctuation at band limit by using a raised cosine waveform for a phase transition waveform in a time slot of a transmission signal so as to eliminate the phase discontinuous point in the time slot. CONSTITUTION:A phase transition waveform psi(t) in one time slot of a data is a waveform of raised cosine as shown in figure and the phase transition waveform in the 1st time slot and the (n+1)th time slot is the same and the entire waveform is shifted by theta according to the sent information. That is, the differential coding of (n) time slot is applied. In such a case, plural kinds of phase transition waveforms psi(t) may be used and a maximum of n-kind of phase transition waveforms in one time slot can be selected.
