PURPOSE:To obtain the title highly versatile sheet which can exhibit a high function, by dispersing a powdery functional substance in a sheet so that the flat area coverage rate of the powdery functional substance on the sheet surface may be higher than that in its inside. CONSTITUTION:The title sheet which is a polymer sheet (e.g., polyester, epoxy or PVC sheet) in which a powdery functional substance, i.e., a powdery substance incompatible or unreactive with the polymer and having various physical and/or chemical functions such as photoconductivity, electric conductivity, catalysis and adsorptivity and is prepared by dispersing said powdery substance in the sheet so that the flat area covering rate of said powdery functional substance on the sheet surface may be higher than that in its inside. This sheet can be produced by mixing a powdery substance having a desired function with a polymeric material and forming the mixture into a sheet by roll molding, extrusion molding or the like and etching the polymeric material on its surface so that the flat area covering rate of the powdery functional substance on the surface may be higher than that in the inside and applying a pressure to it after etching or the like operation.
