PURPOSE:To prevent the ink of a printing sheet from rubbing off on the periphery of a delivery cylinder by securing a sheet made of a fibrous base material, such as nonwoven fabric by bonding to the periphery of the cylinder to provide cushion of air between the periphery of the cylinder and the printing surface and to prepare the damage of the printing ink face so as not to be apparent as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:An ink rubbing-off preventive sheet 2 made of nonwoven fabric sheet having a soft and fibrous uneven rough surface is secured by bonding to the periphery of a delivery cylinder 3 between printing units of an offset printer comprising a plate cylinder 4, a blanket cylinder 5 and an impression cylinder 6. A printing sheet (a) delivered to the cylinder 6 of a second printing unit engaged with the cylinder 3 is not contacted in a close state with the periphery of the cylinder 3 entirely or partly flatly by the rough surface of the sheet 2, an air layer is formed between the sheet 2 and the sheet (a), and the sheet (a) is delivered through the air layer to the second unit while it is being opposed to the periphery of the cylinder 3 at the sheet side.
