PURPOSE:To test every task without exercising influence over other task by building-in an on-line debug program in an operating system of a controller, and testing the task while the task to be tested is put into a debug mode. CONSTITUTION:A programmable controller has a multitask function, and an on-line debugger 71 is provided in the operating system 7 to control the respective tasks 6A-6C, and the test for the objective task 6B to be tested can be performed even while other task is executed. At this time, the objective task 6B to be tested is put into a debug mode, and for instance, a monitor call instruction from the task is made to be the input output of a terminal equipment 5 through the on-line debugger 71, and a relay for the designated command between the processing of the task 6B is executed. Thus, every task can be tested without preparing a programmable controller for testing, and without stopping the system or exercising influence over other task. |
